State Law SB 1383 requires that a formal complaint process is available for violations of requirements, including:
- Missing signage or labeling on waste bins
- Lack of education and outreach materials on how to dispose of materials
- No inspections of bins
- No mixed recycling (blue bin) collection service
- No organics/green waste bin collection service
- Missing blue or green waste bin
If you observe any of these violations, submit the Commercial Waste Collection Issues Form or contact CommercialWaste@SacCounty.gov.
