Sacramento County residents now have more options for recycling old paint. PaintCare offers convenient paint recycling drop-off service at numerous paint retailers throughout Sacramento County and around the State. Visit the

Drop-Off Centers
If you are a resident of the unincorporated area of Sacramento County or the Cities of Elk Grove, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, or Sacramento you may also dispose of household paint at regional facilities. Residents of Citrus Heights should contact their community for paint disposal options.
Oil-based and latex paint and small empty aerosol paint cans are accepted at the
Kiefer Landfill ABOP Facility and the
North Area Recovery Station (NARS) Hazardous Household Waste Facility (HHW).
